- Students can go to a virtual classroom everyday instead of a traditional school
- Students are now offered more online programs through University's while in High School for college credit.
- If students cannot pass a course in high school, they have the option of taking it through Florida Virtual Schools.
- Schools that may not be able to assist Gifted children within a normal classroom setting, are now able to assist these students by certain programs on the Internet that challenge these students.
- There are thousands of websites available for Elementary and High School students to use to help or challenge them in the school subject of their choice.
The facts above I have lived or have learned about throughout the past few years. I cannot wait to find out more about the Distance Education opportunities available for these students!
